On Friday, 24 October, we took part in the demonstration in Bielefeld with many other people in order to send a clear signal for diversity and cohesion. Under the motto ‘I am not a problem in the cityscape, but part of its diversity!’, we have shown that our city lives on the diversity of its people – on different cultures, ways of life and ideas.
The atmosphere at the demo was impressive: Numerous people of all ages have made it clear that diversity not only makes people colorful, but also makes them strong. With banners, banners and loud chants we carried our message to the city: Everyone is part of the cityscape, and together we make our city vibrant and inclusive.
We take a lot of motivation from this day and are determined to continue to actively advocate for an open, diverse and solidarity-based city society. A big thank you to all who were there and made this day a visible sign of diversity!
